Wood Box Manufacturer

Wood Boxes Manufacturer In Japan. Achievements
Wood Boxes Manufacturer In Japan.

We are a Japanese manufacturer specializing in the production of wooden boxes.

Our specialty is wooden boxes

We have been specializing in wooden box-shaped products and have been manufacturing various items such as paulownia osechi jubako (stacked boxes for New Year’s dishes), wooden storage boxes, tabletop organizers, and collection boxes. We excel in producing small-sized wooden products, commonly known as small woodworking items.

In the manufacturing of wooden boxes, wooden boxes with a “butt joint” structure, which lacks mortise and tenon joints, may have lower durability and are prone to easy damage. Our wooden boxes, on the other hand, are constructed with mortise and tenon joints, providing excellent strength and durability.

The available materials include paulownia, MDF, veneer, and others. We also perform assembly of provided components. As for painting, we have a cooperative system with nearby painting factories.

Due to being a small-scale factory, it may not always require large manufacturing batches, especially when using readily available materials or client-supplied materials.

Points of Manufacturing Wooden Box Products

  1. Material selection: It is important to choose the appropriate wood for manufacturing wooden boxes. The type and quality of the wood will determine the strength, durability, and appearance of the box. Depending on the purpose, it is necessary to select the suitable wood for the desired characteristics.
  2. Design: The dimensions, shape, and design of the wooden box can vary depending on its intended use and your requirements. If you provide us with the appropriate size, necessary functionality, and design elements, we will consider the manufacturing methods accordingly.
  3. Assembly and Joinery: The parts of the wooden box are precisely cut and assembled using suitable joining methods. Common joining methods include nails, screws, adhesive, and metal components. However, we specialize in utilizing a combination of mortise and tenon joints and adhesive to ensure strength and durability.
  4. Finishing and Painting: By applying appropriate finishing and painting to the wooden box, you can enhance its durability and achieve a beautiful appearance. Choosing the right paint or finish is crucial for protecting the wood.
  5. Functionality and Convenience: Considering the functionality and convenience of the wooden box is also important. By adding removable dividers, handles, lock mechanisms, and other features as needed, you can enhance usability and storage efficiency.
  6. Quality Control: To ensure the quality of the wooden boxes, we implement quality control throughout the manufacturing process. We pay attention to accurate measurements, sturdy assembly, and consistent finishing to ensure that the final products are of high quality. Our commitment to delivering high-quality products has been proven over a long period of operation.

Points to consider

Due to operating a small-scale factory, we are unable to accommodate demanding prototyping or sporadic large-scale production orders. We only accept orders within Japan.
